Retort Packaging
Retort packaging is a high-temperature–resistant pouch designed for sterilizing food through retort processing.
It uses multi-layer high-barrier materials (such as PET/Aluminum/CPP or Nylon-based structures) to block oxygen, moisture, and light while withstanding heat up to 121–135°C.
The packaging maintains food safety, flavor, and shelf stability without the need for refrigeration.
It must have features like

Choices of Materials for Retort Packaging
A retort pouch is typically made of 3–4 laminated layers, each contributing a specific functional property needed to withstand high-temperature sterilization (121–135°C) while protecting food quality.
